A dry, light and chillable red of Pais and Carignan. Pipeño is a term for peasant wine, drank by farmers and used in church services in Chile. It is a style that has been revived as an affordable, easy-drinking wine made of the old vines of undervalued grape varieties.
The vineyard was planted in 1895, farmed without irrigation. Fermentation is with native yeasts.
