Intense and ripe berry fruit along with mild and almost sweet tannins give this wine structure, fragrance and longevity. The wine is rich, full-bodied, with a hint of gentle toasting.

This seems like a Barolo with the orange-peel and plum character, as well as the firm and chewy tannins. Medium body. Tight and linear. Aged in casks and barrels. This Burgundian effort offers lots of bright cherry and strawberry notes as well as dried flower, dried earth, and licorice aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied and beautifully balanced, with a mid-weight, elegant style.
