Spicy and brooding, the somewhat more full-bodied 2021 Pinot Noir Rice-Spivak Vineyard remains pure and light on its feet, while pouring a saturated ruby, with woodsy aromas coaxing from the glass of pine sap, black raspberry liqueur, and violets. This continues to the palate, with grounding notes of fresh soil and ripe tannins, a savory and gripping profile, and a weightless mineral texture with a lingering presence of petrichor and wet asphalt.
