This Pinot Noir is made with grapes from the top vineyards Dechant and Käferberg.\nThe Dechant vineyard soils are comprised of calcareous loess-clay and clay with ancient rock and gravel deposits higher up on the south-east facing slope.\nThe Käferberg vineyard is located at the top of an eastern slope - about 300 meters above sea level - in the town of Langenlois.
