• Practicing Organic • 100% Pinot Noir (Mt. Eden, Pommard, 667, 115 clones) • Mae Estate Vineyard (Sta. Rita Hills AVA) • Planted in 2016 • Elder series and Tierra complex sandy loam soils • Hand-harvested • 25% whole-cluster • Native yeast fermentation in a Rousseau open top fermenter • Pump overs employed in the first week of fermentation • After 15-18 days the wine is pressed off into tank to settle • Aged in 228L French barrique (30% new) • Bottled unfined & unfiltered • 13.5% abv
