The 2019 Pinot Noir Mae Estate Vineyard CP is another gorgeous wine from Justin Willett's new Mae Estate. Here Willett put together a blend of four barrels from the portion of the vineyard where he used some whole clusters (most of the Pinot from Mae was destemmed in 2019). Because of the stem influence, the CP is quite a bit more aromatic and perfumed than the regular bottling. Silky tannins and lifted floral top notes lend presence and class. This is such a pretty, super- expressive Pinot. Quite frankly,
Blood orange and dried cranberry lead way to beautiful floral notes. Silky and seamless tannins frame its dense mineral and fruit through a long, mouth-watering finish.
