Pear, apple and white blossom show on the nose. On the palate, the flavors of white peach and nashi pear are supported by a soft creamy texture. There is a hint of mandarin and spice on the end palate. The wine is bright with fruit flavors and has a long balanced finish.
Huia Pinot Gris is delicious with seafood risotto, Thai food, grilled salmon and fresh water trout, scallops, blue cheeses and walnuts or pecans.
