The 2019 English Hill Pinot jumps out of the glass with inviting savory and sweet aromas and then massages the palate with airiness that unfolds, showing notes of underbrush, savory and baking spices, earth, and dried tea and herbs. The small berries contribute a higher skin to pulp ratio, which gives this lovely and unique wine an ethereal feel yet has deceiving power due to its high acidity.
It will age effortlessly for 10-15 years and is best paired with seafood, fowl, and meat.
