The savory, approachable palate offers ripe black plum, tobacco and black pepper alongside polished tannins. aromas of dark berries with hints of forest floor and the smell of cedar. Mouth: enveloping taste with hints of blackberry jam, cloves and hints of snuff with supple tannins that provide easy support.
APPELLATION: Barbera d'Asti, Italy. VINEYARD: Pico Maccario. GRAPES: 100% Barbera. AGING: 12 months in French oak barrels. PREPARATION: the best varieties of grapes are picked and undergo a process of fermentation and maceration at controlled temperature.
