Golan Heights Winery is an Israeli wine producer based in the settlement of Katzrin in the Galilee. It has an extensive portfolio of wines, the most prominent of which is Yarden, produced from selected grapes from the best vineyards. White and red wines are also produced under the Gamla, Gilgal and Hermon labels, with the three daily reds being released as Sion and Golan.
Brilliant PV from volcanic soils. Nice dense perfumed nose of pitch dark purple fruit. Deep complex layers of blueberry, roses, violets, ripe spices. Long peppery finish with lush ripe abundant fruit. This is simply superb
