This tequila with extra anejo is made entirely using the Tahona process, an ancient method where a large wheel made of volcanic stone slowly crushes agave. Gran Patron Piedra is then aged for more than 3 years in new American and French oak barrels.

The first extra añejo tequila produced by Patrón - Piedra. It's made from 100% blue weber agave from the highlands of Jalisco. To mature this well-aged expression, they use both American and French oak casks, in which the tequila slumbers for three years before it's bottled and housed inside an appropriately fancy presentation box.
