Painted Wolf Pinotage Guillermo 2019

85% Pinotage, 15% Syrah. 30% whole-bunch fermentation. Matured in French and American oak, 25% new. A top note of banana before red and blackberries, chocolate and a hint of baking spice on the nose while the palate is rich and broad with lush fruit and smooth tannins. Possessing layers of flavor, this comes across as carefully crafted.

Pairs well with deeply flavoured dishes and with exotic flavours – Peking duck, sweet and sour pork belly, braised beef shanks with polenta and gremolata, wild mushroom risotto.
