GEWURZTRAMINER or GEWURZT is one of my favorite white wine varietals. The wines are usually very fragrant with sweet notes that make it go very well with spicy food (Indian/Chinese...), seafood, poultry and barbecue. I always prefer to drink my white wines a little cooler. I store mine in the regular refrigerator rather than the wine fridge.
Delicate notes of white blossom, lemon and lime on the nose are emboldened on the palate of this gorgeously floral Gewurztraminer. It's off-dry in style, with musky, exotic tones of spice and potpourri that linger sexily through the finish. Briskly balanced acidity and a hint of tea tannins lend tautness in structure.
