Clinching coveted positions on the Wine Spectator Top 100 list in the three previous consecutive vintages… The 2014 Orin Swift Machete ranked as the #6 Wine in the World in 2016. Many of you enjoyed this wine by the case… or cases, before the review surfaced, and by the time the review became public, the wine was nearly impossible to obtain. Even better, the 2015 stampedes from the glass with a glorious and persistent perfume layered with blueberry cobbler, dried violets, and incense, intertwined with a tinge of bacon fat and pen ink. Machete is a beautiful and compelling blend of Petite Sirah, Syrah and Grenache…
Uniquely, there are a dozen different labels in each case of Machete. The labels may be a little risqué for some, but everybody can agree that the wine is outrageously awesome. If you’re a fan of deep, seductive and absolutely unforgettable blends, you’ll want to secure a case or two of the new Machete before the reviews surface.

delivery went well
I have not opened any yet, but I was happy with the condition they arrived in and how quickly they were sent.
Nice wine for the money
I like bold reds and this one fits the bill. I will buy more after finishing these.
