The 2017 Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons is the ripest and most exuberant wine in the range—indeed, it attained in excess of 13% alcohol—exhibiting notes of confit lemon, mandarin oil, white flowers and oatmeal.
On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, with the most fruit and texture of any wine in the cellar and a long, nicely defined finish. All that's in keeping with the sunny personality of Vaillons.
