At first you can pass this off as “Chilean,” meaning it smells minty and of eucalyptus and tobacco. But after processing a gritty palate, it's obvious that this is a tight, pulling blend of Cab Franc, Carmenère and Syrah with herbal juniper flavors.
A smacking finish with heavy herbal notes is fitting.
