A nose where saturnine Mouvèdre notes creeps in; coffee, liquorice, and eucalypt. The palate is generous and open with a savoury flavour with prunes. Full and long with plenty of matter to appeal; authentic.
Smooth and elegant tannins with subtle aromas of vanilla, sweet spices, cocoa and mocha. Deep ruby marked by its dark purple reflections. Very intense and powerful. An instant expression of this great terroir. At first black fruits, then notes of soft spices, vanilla, milk chocolate, and spices on a balsamic base. Remarkable scale, harmoniously marrying the aromatic power, sweetness, silky tannins and the remarkable freshness; all concluded by a magnificent length on black licorice fruits.
