Odfjell Carignane Orzada 2017 |
Deep ruby in colour with a mix of aromas such as cherry liqueur, liquorice, black fruits, pears & lychee. Elegant and mature in profile, the palate is juicy and round, with notes of cassis, vanilla, and blackcurrants with ripe tannins and a long and complex finish.
This purple Carignan smells jammy, with an infusion of raw oak. In the mouth, high acidity creates ample energy to balance the full body and structured tannins. Flavors of ripe blackberry and plum linger on the robust finish. Very well recommended win

Introduced to this wine on a cruise. Only red my wife will drink. Nice finish on palate. It's lighter than Californian reds but goes well with veal and even chicken. Great buying experience with superior service. Delivered in a very protective case.
