Nearly opaque black garnet color. Fruity, floral aromas and flavors of huckleberry compote, sweet pea blossom, pomegranate, peppercorns, melon rind, and sweet soy sauce with a round, crisp, fruity sweet medium-to-full body and a warming, interesting, medium-long finish with overtones of watermelon granita and dark chocolate shavings with well-integrated, chewy tannins and moderate oak flavor. Bold in color this Lodi Zinfandel has aromas of earthy eucalyptus and cedar. It has an elegant mouthfeel with flavors of dark fruit ending with a bright, rich, and structured finish.
