Nucano Mezcal Tobala Joven

Nucano (Great Fire) was an important character in the history of Oaxaca, a brave Mixtec warrior who fell in love with the Zapotec Princess Donají, and who, in the name of that love, sought to bring peace to the two nations.

Tobala is known as the king agave. It is much smaller than most other agave used in mezcal production, making it fairly low-yeild. It’s flavors are always complex, and Nucano uses agave Tobala that take 12 years to reach maturity.
