Nestled at the base of the foothills that surround the storied city of Segovia, lie the vineyards of NISIA. Weathered river stone rocks and sandy soils provide a harsh environment for the gnarled vines of Verdejo which were planted more than half-a-century ago. Such vines produce a wine of great complexity and depth of fruit. The soils impart a distinct minerality to the finish which balances the exuberant fruit flavors.
