Nino Negri Valtellina Superiore Vigneto Fracia 2011

The Nino Negri Vigneto Fracia is produced from the estate vineyard of the same name. This 16 acre steep, terraced vineyard sits high on the south facing hillside in the commune of Chiuro within the Valgella subzone. Special clones and vinestocks have been selected and densely planted at over 12,000 plants per acre. Soils are poor consisting primarily of sand and granite gravel.

Complex wild rose and spice flavor, full body with delicate mature plum aroma.
