Made of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the deep garnet-purple colored 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Quicksilver Vineyard opens with cassis, black cherries, kirsch, and bay leaves with lavender and baking spices nuances. The palate is medium to full-bodied, elegant, fresh and vibrant with loads of spring in its step, finishing long.

A stunning pop of red fruit—the signature of this vineyard—opens this decadent, concentrated vintage. The Quicksilver has slightly darker fruit flavors than its preceding vintage while still retaining the juicy cherry and plum notes we have to come to love from this western Rutherford site. Elegant floral notes and a mouthwatering natural acidity brightens the palate while rich tannins carry the flavors into a long, persistent finish.
