Deep dark ruby, almost black. Intense initial aroma of jammy Italian plums and cigar smoke, followed by ripe black cherries and currants, minerality, and mint. This is a dry, medium-light weight wine, with somewhat watery mouthfeel. It tastes of oak, smoke, juicy red fruits, and acrid violets. This wine has a watery acidity and moderate tannins. It will pair with hamburgers, barbecued meats, and ribs.Alcohol: 14.5%
