Pinot Nero Ecce Draco Mutiliana comes from the Apennines which is the most interesting Italian terroir for Pinot Noir, which here, in altitude, finds an austere and vertical expression. Ecce Draco is a thin and elegant pinot noir, obtained from grapes grown at the top, at 600 meters above sea level, in the middle of the thick woods of the Tuscan-Romagnolo Apennines. Here Pinot Noir speaks the new language of the marls and the sandstones that characterize the soils, expressing itself on an austere and deep nose that gives little to the sweetness of the fruit and on a mouth that has made certain hardness an occasion of character and finesse.
