Baron Philippe de Rothschild Mouton Cadet Cuvee Heritage 2020

Mouton Cadet Héritage 2020 is a blend of several appellations from the Bordeaux region. The result is a Bordeaux AOC with a unique typicity, ideal to accompany a rib of beef, shoulder of lamb or duck breast with green pepper sauce.

The Heritage cuvée from the Mouton Cadet house is a Bordeaux AOP appellation wine produced from a blend of 85% Merlot, 8% Cabernet-sauvignon and 7% Cabernet Franc. 

This Bordeaux wine has an intense garnet color enhanced by light purple highlights. 

The first nose is a mixture of black fruits (blackberry, blueberry) and red fruits (candied cherry). Then, upon aeration, delicate hints of spices and blackcurrant arrive.

On the palate, the attack is round and rich, with aromas of fresh fruits such as blueberry or cherry. The mid-palate is marked by powerful but very chiseled tannins. The finish reveals notes of sweet spices as well as a beautiful freshness.
