A leader among Chilean Cabernets, aged for 12 months in French fine grain Allier oak barrels. Intense ruby color, with blackcurrant, chocolate and cigar box aromas; balanced with well-integrated oak. Great complexity of flavors in the mouth; mid-palate is full-bodied and balanced, with remarkably long finish. A superb wine ready to drink now, it can also be chosen for cellaring for future enjoyment.
Deep and intense carmine red in color with violet notes at the rim. The complex nose offers outstanding aromas of ripe black fruits such as figs and blackberries complemented by notes of crème de cassis, while spices such as cayenne pepper appear over a backdrop of dark chocolate, which masterfully envelopes subtle aromas of leather and tobacco.
The undeniably elegant Montes Alpha Cabernet Sauvignon is silky on the palate with perfectly rounded tannins that trigger an explosion of the fruit on the mid-palate. The 2015 vintage seduces with its tremendous volume and structure as it eases into its remarkably long finish—a faithful reflection of the virtues that the wonderful terroir of the Colchagua Valley offers year after year.
