DESCRIPTION
Fabio Chiarelotto has run Montepeloso at Suvereto, just south of Bolgheri, since 1998. Lupo is his straightforward one: all Sangiovese, light to medium bodied, bright cherry red. Wild strawberry and red cherry with white pepper and Mediterranean herbs, tension and minerality on the palate, subtle tannin. Drink it young.
