Montefiore Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Montefiore Cabernet Sauvignon is made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in the vineyards of the Judean Hills.

Cabernet Sauvignon is Israel’s largest planted variety and is responsible for many of Israel’s finest wines. The grape variety was originally brought to Israel by Baron Edmond de Rothschild in the 1880’s. A hundred years later, it was to play a central role in the Israel quality wine revolution.

Montefiore Cabernet Sauvignon was part aged in American oak barrels for eight months. The wine is young, vibrant and fruity, with aromas of ripe wild berry , a touch of strawberry, and a delicate backdrop of vanilla.
