Moli Dels Capellans Trepat 2017

Full of spice and red fruit, with savoury notes on the palate. Lovely fine tannins and refreshing acidity mean this wine is perfect slightly chilled. 

Molí dels Capellans Atrepat is made from 100% Trepat, which comes from one farm of old vines. Vase-shaped vines planted in 1974, at 485 metres of altitude on clayey-calcareous soils with a poor organic matter. They started cultivating them organically in 2012.

Grapes are harvested twice. 40% of the grapes go through carbonic maceration and then, all the must ferments together at a low temperature. It undergoes malolactic fermentation and is left to stand for 3 months on its fine lees.
