Dry Creek is a phenomenal region for Zinfandel, and the Rage is a perfect encore several acclaimed vintages. Nothing hostile about this vintage; it shows more earthiness than the winery's other Zinfandels, but oozes blackberry and a bit of pepper. Very limited production, you don’t want to miss this one!
Tasting Notes
After two stellar vintages, the third installment of Rage Zinfandel has everyone wanting more! Cigar box, white pepper and saddle leather at first, but tame oak allows plenty of dark cherry and plum to slowly morph this Dry Creek Zin into a blackberry liquor. Elegant, sophisticated and smooth, this wine is “all the Rage!”
