Opens with a soft decadent mouth feel with flavors of dark fruits, chocolate cake batter, creme’ de cassis , orange zest, bakers spice. Dark rich and decadent!
Paired with aged manchego cheese and fig preserves with toasts. Nose is all the dark fruits...Black cherries, black raspberries, currant, and licorice...some hickory smoke. Up front lush fruit and also dry...acidity medium and tannins fill the mouth. Finishes blueberries, pipe tobacco, mulberry, black olives, and chocolates sprinkled with chili pepper dust.
