DESCRIPTION
The Meursault 1st Cru Poruzot-Dessus is a 100% Chardonnay coming from an organically certified vineyard. The grapes have fermented for no less than 2 months (the longest fermentation in Burgundy) and then mature in 70% used oak barrels and in 30% new oak. In the nose, the Poruzot-Dessus has pungent lime aromas and notes of peeled almonds, green apples, white flowers.
A rich, full and concentrated Meursault that is refined and has a pleasant freshness that will improve with the years. This organic meursault is so beautiful that you should certainly not drink it too cold (between 10-12 degrees).
