The “Galil Yiftah” shows fruit aromas of cherries, raspberries and plum jam, with a light background of vanilla, coffee and oak. An elegant and full-bodied wine with balanced acidity and a pleasant aftertaste. This inviting single vinyard is made from Syrah and Petit Verdot grapes, which come exclusively from the “Yiftah” vineyard.
The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for 18 months. With the passionate “Galil Yiftah,” it can be very difficult to hold back on opening up. However, the wine improves within a few years and, under suitable conditions, can remain in excellent drinking condition for a decade.
Combine the wine with various sumptuous meat dishes, such as tender ossobuco, slow-cooked lamb ribs or smoked cheese.
