A deliciously elegant California Merlot that matches a lower-than-expected alcohol level (<14%) with lovely body, texture and fruit. Gentle aromas of Bing cherry, graphite, and powdered cocoa lead to a supple mouthful of blackberries, cherries, spice and just a tiny hint of Merlot's herbal signature.
Finishes with more than enough grip to handle a filet steak, but nothing that gets in the way of just enjoying all by itself. Very pretty wine.
