DESCRIPTION

The 2016 Jamie Lynn Vineyard Barbera from McManis Family Vineyards is bright, focused with Red Raspberry as thepredominant fruit and medium ruby in color. . However, black fruit and Cherry are also found. The wine is medium bodied, with soft medium tannins. The acidity of the wine amplifies the fruitflavors, and a nice hint of Mocha lingers long after the wine has been swallowed.

Impressive for its combination of grapy richness and spicy oak notes, this medium-bodied wine is showy and attractive. It has moderate tannins and good acidity typical of the variety.
