IT'S ALL IN THE DETAILS
On the nose, prominent smell of apples and maltiness out of the bottle. In the glass, first impressions are wine-like but this then opens up to butterscotch, canteloupe, a hint of the maltiness. Very light and slightly floral palate. Canteloupe, apple and a hint of rye bread and maltiness, maaaaybe with a tiny bit of honey, transitioning to subdued bitter oak astringency.
Burnt toast followed by a hint of white grape that transitions to a nondescript saccharine sweetness at the finish.
