DESCRIPTION
Grapes grown in the foothills of,and actually in, the Mount Lebanon mountain range, at 1,200-1,600 metres above sea level. Obeidi 35%, clairette 35%, sauvignon blanc 15%, chardonnay 15%. 20 years on average. Conducted at our Faqra winery.
Grapes are hand-picked and conveyed in crates. Direct pressing with a pneumatic press, static settling, and fermentation in foudres (30 hl) and demi-muids. On the lees for about 8 months in foudres (30 hl) and demi-muids. Bottled at 8 months.
A wine packed with fruit and freshness. The native obeidi variety imparts a hint of easygoing eastern style.
