A blend of Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara from Verona, Veneto, Italy. The wine is made using the Masi double fermentation technique where the wine is vinified and then re-fermented with 25% whole, semi-dried grapes. The wine is aged 2/3 in large 90hl Slavonian oak Botti and 1/3 in new French and Slavonian oak barrels...
Exceptionally versatile. Good with pasta dishes dressed with rich sauces (meat or mushrooms); grilled or roast red meat, and game. Ideal with well-aged cheese.
