Marco Merli Rosato Umbria 'Zerodibabo' 2019 |
The Cantina di Marco Merli was born in 2002 in Casa del Diavolo, on the Umbrian hills where Marco together with his father manage the 7 hectares of vineyards and cultivate the vines of the Umbrian tradition plus a few foreigners. In the cellar fermentations with indigenous yeasts are preferred and where the few technologies used are "outside and not inside the wine". The rare fertilizations are carried out only with animal manure and herbaceous green manures and the spring / summer treatments only with copper and sulfur. We can consider him one of the promoters of Umbrian nature, his motto is to bottle natural wines as stable as possible.
ZerodiBabo, rosé wine from Vignaiolo Marco Merli, is produced from Sangiovese grapes, spontaneous fermentation in steel and without maceration on the skins, then undergoes an aging in concrete barrels for 8 months.
