The 2014 Marchand & Burch Villages Chardonnay is the newest addition to the Marchand & Burch Australian Collection, alongside the original Marchand & Burch Chardonnay and the Marchand & Burch Mt Barrow Pinot Noir. Sourced from the Great Southern of Western Australia, this chardonnay is designed for people who like a lighter, more refined style of chardonnay where the oak impact is minimal, the fruit is pristine and the quartz-like acid gives a flinty edge to the finish.
Wine Notes
A subtle bouquet of white field flowers, meringue and citrus zest. The flavours and textures of finely ground nutmeal and lemon curd, give weight to the palate whilst a fine stony acidity adds length and crispness.
