• Single malt whiskey distilled and aged by Matsui Whisky in Tottori, Japan • Double distilled in Japanese copper pot stills at Matsui’s Kurayoshi Distillery • Non-age statement; aged for a minimum of 3 years in ex-bourbon casks and finished in sherry casks • Proofed with the soft groundwater of Tottori Prefecture’s Mount Daisen • Baked cereal grain, smoked sea salt, and wet leather on the nose transitions to a sherry-influenced palate of dried apricot, toasted macadamia nuts, and shitake mushroom with a silky finish of fresh cream, buttered toast, and a touch of tropical fruit • Gold medalist at the 2023 San Francisco World Spirits Competition • No added coloring • Non-chill filtered; 43% ABV Distilled and aged entirely in Japan by Matsui, this award-winning malt whisky sets itself apart from the standard Kurayoshi expression with a generous sherry cask influence, exhibiting notes of dried fruit, toasted nuts, and umami throughout.
