The nose is spicy and dark, with aromas of espresso, black plum, black currant, and deeply charred sweet oak. In the mouth, the wine is rich with dark chocolate-covered cherries, freshly ground coffee, layered with broad but supple tannins. The long finish is perfumed with fresh vanilla bean.
