DESCRIPTION

There’s very intense nougat and spicy biscuit here with melon and citrus fruit. This has a very fresh, fleshy palate that drives on mouthwatering acidity. Super fresh.

This wine shows New and Old World traits. Its aromas and flavors of ripe fruit and slight rusticity should make it pleasing pairing choice with morel-accented braised meats. 

The 2017 Savigny-les-Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Guettes (Domaine Gagey) wafts from the glass with aromas of raspberries, cranberries, dried flowers and spices. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, satiny and fleshy, with juicy acids and fine-grained tannins. It's a strong effort.
