Ripe berry fruits are cut with acidity and layers of tannins to give a wine that has density as well as potential for aging. It likely will be ready to drink from 2021. Light straw with fresh fruit aromas and citrus notes. On the palate stone fruit flavors with an underlying sweetness. The finish lingers with some nutty notes, well balanced.
100% Pinot Noir from Rully, Côte Chalonnaise, France. Raspberry, wood, cinnamon, clove, strawberry, milk chocolate, tobacco, earth. After breathing for a while, brings some truffle notes. Medium length aftertaste, round tannins. Good depth, focused, appropriate acidity. Vibrant, bright and stylish.
