Chardonnay from the Maconnais in southern Burgundy, vinified without oak so the fruit and acidity stay forward. Floral, apple and citrus on the nose, then a round texture with lemon and grapefruit, white flowers and a mineral edge. A note of lemongrass on the finish. This is the everyday white Burgundy rather than the special occasion one.
