The nose is quite full with balanced oaked tannins and smoked ham. A touch of Fraise des Bois liqueur and notes of musty port. The palate is full and firm with notes of arak, dark toffee, vanilla spice and buttery oak. The finish is quite long and oaked with a touch of spice.AROMA WITHOUT WATERFresh and fragrant with heavy Sherry influences. More delicate fruity notes develop.TASTE WITHOUT WATERHeavy sweetness, very smooth and creamy, with a delicate spicy edge. Some nutty influences - Brazil nuts.AROMA WITH WATERFresh and fragrant, highly floral - some violet notes. Sweetness is present with a subtle charred oak edge.TASTE WITH WATERMouth warming - hint of ground black pepper, well balances and sweet.
