Lignier-Michelot Morey-Saint-Denis Les Chenevery 2014

An elegant wine with an extremely long and wonderful finish.  125 cases made on average on the .3 ha big vineyard known as les Chenevery.  The vines are between 55 and 60 years old.

Fine-grained, polished tannins coat the cheeks as this wine crosses the palate with a silky, sophisticated feel; this is a beautifully structured, supple Burgundy that’s just now entering its drinking window. Deriving from the estate’s .66-acre parcel of vines, this wine used 30% whole clusters in 2013; the grapes fermented in temperature-controlled tanks, and the wine aged in barrels for twelve to sixteen months before bottling.
