DESCRIPTION
Liatiko is the most widely planted red variety in Crete. This is a benchmark example. Light brick red colour, nice ripe savoury spice aromas.
The palate is full of lovely dark cherry, plum and mace-like spice. Lovely crisp acidity and soft tannins from the mix of large oak puncheons and small barriques. Can be served lightly chilled. Try it with moussaka or grilled lamb.
