It is full-bodied, greedy and generous on the nose and retains a beautiful minerality. Ample and greedy on the palate, lovely development and well-made structure. An energetic finish with aromas of ripe pears.
These grapes, blended in fairly equal quantities, give the wines of Champagne their wonderful flavors and aromas, with the Pinot Noir offering length and backbone, and the Chardonnay varietal giving its acidity and dry, biscuity nature.
